Terms & Conditions

Last updated: March 2026

1. Definitions

"Company", "we", "us" refers to Rhino Removals Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. "Customer", "you" refers to the person or organisation requesting removal services. "Goods" refers to all items to be moved as listed on the inventory or quotation.

2. Quotations & Booking

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices are based on the information provided by the customer. Any additional items, services, or access difficulties not disclosed at the time of quotation may result in supplementary charges. A booking is confirmed once the deposit has been received and a written confirmation issued.

3. Payment Terms

A deposit of 25% of the total quoted price is required to confirm the booking. The remaining balance is due on or before the day of the move unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing. We accept payment by bank transfer and card. Late payment may incur interest at 3% above the Bank of England base rate.

4. Cancellation & Postponement

Cancellations made more than 14 days before the scheduled move date will receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made 7-14 days before the move will receive a 50% refund of the deposit. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the move will forfeit the deposit. Postponements are subject to availability and must be agreed in writing.

5. Insurance & Liability

All moves are covered by our comprehensive goods-in-transit insurance up to £50,000. Claims must be submitted in writing within 7 days of delivery. We are not liable for damage to items packed by the customer, pre-existing damage, or damage caused by inherent defects. Our liability for any single item is limited to its market value at the time of the move. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

6. Customer Obligations

You must ensure that all items to be moved are adequately described in the inventory. You must provide accurate information about access, parking, and any restrictions at both the collection and delivery addresses. You are responsible for disconnecting and preparing appliances (e.g., washing machines, gas cookers) prior to the move. You must be present or have an authorised representative present at both addresses.

7. Prohibited Items

We will not transport hazardous materials, flammable liquids, explosives, firearms, illegal substances, perishable goods, or live animals. For international moves, certain items may be restricted by the destination country's customs regulations. We will advise you of any known restrictions.

8. International Moves

For international removals, customs duties, taxes, and import fees are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed. We will assist with customs documentation but cannot guarantee clearance times. Transit times are estimates and may be affected by customs delays, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.

9. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations where such failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, industrial action, government restrictions, or pandemics.

10. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us at contact@rhinoremovals.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve all complaints within 14 working days. If we cannot resolve your complaint directly, we recommend mediation through the Ombudsman Services.

11. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Data Protection

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described therein.
